Sigh - I guess they have to report on things people are interested in but there is no association with Talc powder and ovarian cancer. Winning an American civil law case is not at all the same as a thing being true https://t.co/VECA2nsm66

The claim involves 3,000 people and focuses on internal memos and scientific reports, seen by the BBC.

It’s not too late to vaccinate - cases are rising. With no treatment for the disease, vaccination for #BTV3 remains the best line of defence to protect your flock/herd. Speak to your vet to discuss the best plan of action for your farm. https://t.co/tkcREGm7gj #BattleBluetongue

"We must call his scheme to round up and deport our French, our Indian, our Caribbean neighbours, who already have Indefinite Leave to Remain what it is: It is racist. I say, not in our country, not in our name, not in our time." Lammy's delivered a bit of a barn-stormer. ~AA

80 cases of BTV-3 now (and one BTV-8) note that the UK only reports the initial confirmed cases on a farm not the total number of animals affected - its a lot, lot higher than this and unlike last year these are high livestock density regions https://t.co/DTRAM5pmg2

The important thing with this one is that the btv vaccines are strain specific, if you are seeing clinical signs in a btv3 vaccinated animal it might be this one. There are btv 8 vaccines in production but not ( currently) available in the uk … sonething to prepare for next year

Sigh, you can't apply for citizenship in Britain unless you first hold indefinite leave to remain... removing it removes all routes to citizenship. Even citizenship is not much of a protection (it can be revoked).

Were this implemented in full it would affect roughly 10% of the population directly (and probably about 1/3 indirectly via family members). All this for "benefits" that most immigrants can't claim and or pay twice for (looking at you NHS surcharge)

My lord I agree with Piers Morgan. For many people UK citizenship means giving up your existing nationality permanently, Its also really xxx expensive and the limits reform are proposing would only allow the top 10% of the UKs workforce to qualify

This is outrageous. Nobody who’s been granted indefinite leave to remain in the UK should have that rescinded unless they abuse that status by committing a crime.

Now here is a real health scandal, that no one’s even tried to cover up. “ can’t be bothered to fix it” is a lot more common than conspiracy

Proud to contribute frontline testimony to tonight's enraging @ITVX documentary "The Covid Contracts: Follow the Money". Boris Johnson's government squandered £8.7 billion on unusable PPE - while nurses wore bin bags, NHS staff started dying, and grifters like Michelle Mone saw
