Personally I would like to continue eating - we won't be able to do so unless this is tackled (the UK can't suddenly replace the 60% of its food supply that's produced locally). The wheat harvest failed this year
⛈️ UK arable farmers are facing an estimated £828m drop in revenues after one of the worst harvests on record. READ MORE: https://t.co/ZibQrrW6Jd

This one is really bad and should have been stopped years ago, we know what things are flags for fraud like this but there is nothing to stop it

The new FVE position statement on preferentially promoting vaccination over culling policies in emerging disease outbreaks is one that I wholeheartedly support. https://t.co/GmJoP24jZb

All just as true of animal agriculture as of cropping and horticulture
I worked for 20 years in "Big Ag" so you don’t have to. This is what they don’t want you to know: Farmers don’t have time for conspiracy theories. Romanticize farming all you want, but without modern tools, you’d starve. GM crops aren't frankenfood. They cut pesticide

I grew up in a coastal community where a lot of the commercial fishing was run by Italian families - I remember this sort of thing as a reflection on how hard and dangerous fishing is as a way of life. Some of the replies in this thread are just madly ignorant
I wish to recall fishermen on the occasion of #WorldFisheriesDay, which is observed today. May Mary, Star of the Sea, protect fishermen and their families.

Some work on vaccine communications to farmers produced with a final year student last year on a policy internship. No point having a vaccine if they don't use it....

This is why livestock are such a critical part of food security - whatever you think of the countries politics this is a simple and low cost way to make peoples lives better
Afghanistan is in the grip of a devastating drought—putting lives & livelihoods at risk. With support from @NorwayMFA, @FAO has delivered lifesaving agricultural assistance to livestock keepers like Abida, helping protect her animals & feed her family amid worsening conditions.

Signs of bluetongue are not always obvious. Farmers are encouraged to investigate low scanning results – an indicator of #BTV3 infection. Report suspected cases immediately. For more information, head to: https://t.co/tkcREGm7gj

Sigh - I guess they have to report on things people are interested in but there is no association with Talc powder and ovarian cancer. Winning an American civil law case is not at all the same as a thing being true https://t.co/VECA2nsm66

The claim involves 3,000 people and focuses on internal memos and scientific reports, seen by the BBC.
