A good day at #RSPBFramptonMarsh with 91 species seen across the reserve including Little Stint, Crossbill, Greenshank and Curlew Sandpiper. Our Optics event runs over the weekend on the 13&14, with expert advice on hand. Thanks to Ray Hall for today's photo.

A rather dramatic end to today with heavy showers darkening the sky in the afternoon, accompanied by thunder and lightning. Some of todayβs highlights include sightings of 3 Little Stint, Greenshank, 20 Spoonbills, a Kingfisher and 2 Merlin.

This Wheatear was spotted on the reserve early morning. Thanks to Neil Smith for sharing this with us. A Little Stint is still on the reed bed, with 20+ Spoonbill on the reservoir. Don't forget that 13/14 Sept we have an Optics event at the reserve.@vikingoptical @Natures_Voice
