Today is Remembrance Day. However you choose to mark it, RSL is asking all Australians to honour our veterans & remember to remember. Attend a service, wear a poppy or donate to the RSL Poppy Appeal, and observe a minute’s silence at 11am to keep the legacy of our veterans alive.

Today we commemorate Kokoda Day and remember all who played a part in this victory, in particular, the New Guinea Wartime Carriers (better known as ‘fuzzy-wuzzy angels’) who supported our diggers and transported war supplies on their bare shoulders over dense jungle terrain.
