Registration has opened for the Variety in Chemistry Education / Physics Higher Education Conference 2025 (ViCEPHEC25), which will be hosted in Liverpool this August. Abstract submissions are also open. The conference website is at @vicephec.bsky.social.

Oh no, not another one. This is sad news.
Cardiff University has proposed merging its chemistry department with the earth and environmental sciences and physics and astronomy departments to form a new school of natural sciences. It has also proposed other mergers, and ending several programmes.
