Child had nothing to submit beyond letters from the schools saying “this kid wouldn’t cheat and didn’t need to cheat.” Child got an email this week that said “due to overwhelming evidence of violation of security protocol, we stand by our initial assessment.”

A 14-year-old whose behavior showed repeated cries for help should not be tried as an adult. The adults who kept guns in the house where the troubled 14-year-old could get them should absolutely be tried as adults.
