Hard to think of another transplant patient who did more for the entire @RoyalPapworth transplant community. An inspirational, kind and generous person. One of a kind. A legend. We will all miss you, Maggie. Rest in peace.

We are heartbroken 💔 Getting the gift of more years does not diminish the pain of losing a truly wonderful person.

@DianeGi32807260 @maggie_erewash @Thomas_Waite @SteveBarclay @APPG_VGP @SteveBarclay at some point when you decided to enter politics you would’ve had a sense of public service and protecting the vulnerable so why are you completely silent on #Evusheld ??? Do something before more #CEV die or before they just give up on life. Isolation is depressing

"I've always wanted to be a nurse." Kim was in the year group whose A-Levels were cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic. She's now a healthcare support worker in cardiology and next month begins her nursing apprenticeship with us, funded by the NHS. #ALevels2022 | @NHSEngland

@BBCFergusWalsh Thank you for your support in raising the profile of this story. 500,000 immunocompromised people desperately need this drug, to start living their lives again. Is this a measure of what this country has become, that we throw the most vulnerable to the wolves.

This is me on our first vaccination clinic- happily vaccinated and vaccinating my dear colleague. It was day that I will remember as a stand out in my 33 year career to date. I feel so privileged to have had 3 doses of a vaccine so that I can protect myself and others!

I’m an Advanced HF/Transplant Cardiologist but spent months and months working on COVID-19 ICU in 20/21. I’m fully vaccinated for myself, friends/family, the patients I look after and wider society. #GetVaccinatedNow

From own experience it takes 6ms to get a decision on PIP. 🤦🏻‍♂️😮 Hundred people die challenging terminally ill benefits awards
bbc.co.uk
Around 100 people who were denied fast-tracked disability benefits died while challenging the decision.

We’ve sadly lost another one of our people to Covid. Regrettably being double jabbed does not always give enough protection to organ recipients. #longshielding
