Congrats to Chunyu Wang, professor of biological sciences at RPI, who has been awarded a prestigious research fellowship from the Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science. The fellowship supports accomplished scientists in pursuing collaborative research with peers in Japan.

A research team led by RPI’s Chunyu Wang has uncovered a hidden vulnerability in the Hedgehog signaling pathway, a system that, when overactivated, can fuel several types of cancer. This breakthrough could lead to more targeted, effective treatments.
