At a Chaos game this summer, a fan asked the same thing. I explained to him the origins of the game had no boundaries, so backing-up-a-shot is the closest weโll get to keeping the modern game tied with the original creators game Which IMO makes it the greatest rule in all sports
How weird is it you get rewarded in field lacrosse for missing the net? Ahh you completely blew it and missed everything, but your teammate was closest to the end line, have another crack at it. #NCAALax
