RIP MOM - you had a great life and made us ALL smile!!!! I love you and will miss you but will celebrate your memory and angle on life every day moving ahead!!!!
Only fitting that Dad passed away on the first day of 2024 College Lacrosse season. Lacrosse, Golf, NYT crossword puzzles were all passions of his along with his family - RIP Dad - Love you and will miss you!

Win or lose on Sunday -
@PremierLacrosse
Island has been an awesome experience! Shoutout to the ALL of the players, coaches, behind scenes support people, Rob Sanzillo, Seth Tierney, Mike Rabil, Kevin Warnock, Nicole Warren, Dr Logan, Mike Giunta & the fans. Good luck Whips!
Shout to my daughter Tyler Towers on getting cleared after her ACL surgery & recovery - 1 year! Not an easy path but you were tough and an inspiration to your family!!! We love you!
@jamestowers31
Classless.. Blaze is the reigning goalie of the year for a reason. Have some respect. Grow up and be a role model for kids watching live. You are playing at the highest level
The sport is lucky to have your vision, drive, and leadership
@PaulRabil
- your personal AND financial sacrifice has and will continue to push this sport to heights never seen before!
“Take lacrosse to where it should be - at the top” (Jim Brown)
Over a number of years, I’ve proudly worked with Warrior and New Balance — and they’ve been great partners. I’m disappointed in their decision, but remain resolute in the mission of the PLL to build a new future for players and our sport.
Playing in the Dome my sophomore year was terrifying. SU came out to the theme song from the Omen...the fucking OMEN....there was smoke, the Gaits, and
@PatMcCabe29
....they scored 5 goals in 2-3minutes and it became very obvious very quickly that I wasn’t very cool, they were.
Not happy with today’s outcome or our performance in the playoffs, but love our team/staff, proud of the season’s body of work, and PUMPED for 2020! LFG CHAOS!!!
Happy 20th Anniversary to my beautiful and PATIENT wife - I love you!
Thanks for ALL you do, ALL that you’ve given me, and your unconditional love and support - you’re the BEST!!!
Breaking:
@HopkinsSports
AD Jen Baker announced today that the University and
@jhumenslacrosse
coach Dave Pietramala have "mutually and responsibly agreed to part ways as Johns Hopkins looks to move the program in a different direction.”
Just had a conversation with
@j_thompson74
to inform him he’s not dressing this week. His response was that he’s approaching everything in life with humility and is supportive of all decisions that are team focused/first. JT74 is the consummate weapon - no ego, ALL substance!!!
In a dramatic 5 game match,
@jamestowers31
comes back from a down 2 games to take the last 3 straight to win the first Rage Ball Holiday Major.
@AndyTowersPLL
was seen mumbling to himself in the parking lot acting distant and ‘weird’
For those that got unfollowed this week, I’m sorry - I chopped my list down by 95%. Nothing personal, but I couldn’t find anything so I made the move. Got a text from a friend(?) last night calling me out for it - Guess his Twitter feelings got hurt...can’t believe that’s a thing
Last summer the PLL played at Homewood.
@CoachPetro43
took
@jamestowers31
and his friend on a personal tour of the facilities & treated them like 5-star recruits. They were 7th graders. He gave them an UNFORGETTABLE moment. Leaving, James said I want to go to Hop!
Best of luck to
@MylesJones_15
on his continued success in the PLL. He’s a TREMENDOUS talent, teammate, and most importantly PERSON!
I firmly believe that this trade made both teams better and that the PLL is better for it.

@PLLChaos
Great job this season
@PLLChaos
and
@AndyTowersPLL
we didn’t get the ending result we wanted but we worked hard in the games that mattered and made it to the championship. Thanks
@PremierLacrosse
for an awesome summer!
In a match filled with really high highs and really low lows
@AndyTowersPLL
was able to pull out an emotional battle of Rage Ball today here on Easter Eve vs the sinewy & cat-like
@jamestowers31
setting the stage for tomorrow’s “Holiday Major”
You could always sign that stuff and send it to the kids of the New Balance executives. They may need some ‘cheerin’ up’, PR - as you and the rest of the PLL continues to DOMINATE the Lacrosse landscape!
LFG CHAOS

@PLLChaos
After last week’s
@business
report on my new balance contract termination, I landed back in LA with an apartment full of
@PremierLacrosse
goods. WATCH 🎥
Watching the Mike Vick 30 for 30 - strikes me as a metaphor for life in general, or what you hope for in life. People that make the most of second chances.
Hate what he did, but love that he paid his debt through humility and honesty, and society gave him a second chance.
With the addition of new league format (gm 1 is played with strong hand, gm 2 with your off hand, gm 3 strong hand), it’s a pleasure to say that the belt is comfortably around this 51yr old’s 46inch waist. This truly is a roller coaster of emotions - just need to stay grounded...
You could’ve sat back and ‘said’ I could easily play in the PLL and people would’ve believed you. Instead you put your money where you mouth is and did it.

I decided to play professional lacrosse to challenge myself as a competitor, and to show the world how skilled the athletes in this sport are.
I earned a roster spot through a difficult Training Camp and I saw just how real the guys in this league are.
Spot on, Q - the kicker is when club coaches tweet out how their team has won 60 games in a row with players too old to qualify for the World Series of Youth Lacrosse (mandates birthdays to retain the integrity of the event) like it’s some sort of an accomplishment…..
#frauds
“Apparently they are all rising ninth graders, although they could be 14, 15 or even 16 year olds by the end of June. “
@QKessenich
- At what point is lacrosse going to get in line with other sports such as hockey, football and soccer and go age based competition?
How sick is this news for the players and incoming recruits to NW....?
“Good news, Gang - Michael Jordan has agreed to be our Volunteer Asst this season...”
This is so spot on and transcends sports. It’s applicable to everything.
Success is proactively and purposefully doing everything you can do to get the ‘desired result’ NOT getting the desired result. Success is subjective, a process, while the ‘desired result’ is tangible.
Last night at his postgame presser,
@GeorgiaStateMBB
head coach Rob Lanier delivered one of the most mindful answers I have ever heard.
Sports fan or not, I really encourage you to watch this.
Thank you
@NatStLaurentPL
, Dr Logan and
@PremierLacrosse
for looking out for me. This game and why I play is bigger than me, I wanted to prove that this series. Cant wait to support my teammates and watch the best lacrosse experience to date happen, Roll Woods ✊🏽🙏🏽🖤🤍
Torp is one of the highest character coaches in all SPORTS. His passion for helping people succeed in LIFE is what he’s all about. Lacrosse just happens to be his vehicle. Congrats him and his whole team at
@HPUMensLax
on a great W vs arguably the best lacrosse PROGRAM in D-1.
Congrats to Panther coach Jon Torpey.
You know those guys who are either universally liked or, if someone doesn’t like him, that person respects him? That’s who Torp is.
Jim Brown Most Valuable Player: Blaze Riorden
Blaze has impacted both ends of the field from within his crease, turning saves into outlets for fast breaks. He made a league-high 149 saves, turning aside 61% of shots against.
A step forward for us tonight but certainly frustrating to not get the desired result. We just have to stay together, keep making progress, and peak for the playoffs - that’s all that matters. LFG CHAOS!!!
No need to send this out
@KirkHerbstreit
- most understand the ‘spirit’ of what you said and took it the way you intended it. Unfortunately some folks are just looking for a reason to ‘be mad’ - keep doing you, Brother- you’re part of what makes college football great!
Just wanted to clarify some of my comments from earlier today. Of course some players love the game the same today as ever. But some don’t. I’ll always love the players of this game and sorry if people thought I generalized or lumped them all into one category.
"You can have all the talent in the world but if you’re not going to listen and be in the right spot every time and be accountable to do your job properly then you’re not going to play."
~ Julio Jones on what it’s like to play for Nick Saban
ANYONE that plays a team sport - INTERNALIZE this. You don’t have to be happy, but you MUST pull it off.
Bad body language & passive aggressive questions/words = ME>WE
Success = Controlling the ‘controllables’ PROACTIVELY
If you don’t bench them, you don’t help them
100% - so disappointing for the coaches and athletes. Hard to not believe that they haven’t dragged their feet knowing all along that they weren’t going to play. For what, so kids don’t transfer...? So weak.....
Tough game for us tonight but credit the Chrome and congrats to
@soudo33
and his staff on the victory.
We’ll use this loss to fuel our prep for the Redwoods game on Monday.
LFG CHAOS!
BD is one of the best people on the planet and clearly one of the very best coaches in the sport. Fact is, if you don’t get along with Bill Dwan - YOU’RE the dick!
Thank you Bill Dwan for your extraordinary contributions to Lacrosse. A 3-time All-Amer defenseman, an Asst Coach for 2 yrs
@LoyolaMLAX
& 20 yrs as Asst/Assoc. Head Coach for
@jhumenslacrosse
. He won the Fred Smith 🏆 in ‘91. We hope to see him on sidelines soon!
