Slow progress is better than no progress. No matter how “small” the improvement, be grateful you’re progressing. The worst thing is to get frustrated because of slow progress and giving in to unsustainable quick fixes, with the chances of you regaining all that weight.

Them: I haven’t been in the gym in years, I lost a bit of weight before but I have put it back on. The gym’s intimidating & full of people that know what they’re doing. I’m embarrassed if I do it wrong. Me: Can you go for a 5min walk everyday for the next week? Them: Yes!😃

Message to all avid gym goers. Stop posting about the gym being busy with “newbies” & constantly highlighting the failure rate of new year resolutions. You have no right to shame or deny someone the ability of becoming a better version of themselves. Be better than that.

Looking “Fit” Vs Being Healthy They aren’t the same. You can be a perfect front cover example of fitness, defined abs or peach glutes & not be in good overall health. On the other hand, you can look like the norm & not turn heads in the gym but be in excellent health.

Saying I want to “lose weight” isn’t enough. Putting it into the universe isn’t going to get you results. You have to want them enough to plan ahead, commit to a consistent routine and keep moving forward… Especially when you aren’t feeling motivated anymore. #fitness #gym

If you want to lose weight, then cardio a few times a week and a consistent calorie deficit will do the trick. You want a LEAN physique? Lifting challenging weight and fuelling your body properly is essential. The choices are yours.

Just some reminders if eating today is hard. 🏋️‍♀️ Even if you haven’t exercised today.. 🥘 Had a big dinner yesterday… 🤬 Someone made a comment about your body… Your body still needs enough food everyday. You never need to “earn”, “burn” or compensate for eating food.
