We must remember these numbers represent too many lives lost to overdose. Increasing treatment & recovery opportunities for our most vulnerable communities must continue to sustain this downward trend in overdose deaths and end this crisis.

The Boston Public Health Commission released data last week that showed a 38% decrease in overdose deaths compared to 2023.

Drug overdose deaths plummet in Massachusetts.RIZE 1st funded drug-checking interventions inc fentanyl test strips in 2018-We were 1 of few funders who invested in these practices-Now there are many supporters including govt-Its NOT time to cut funding for life-saving treatment.
