are saddened to hear of the passing of former Referee Fred Lindop MBE. A Grade One referee from 1967-88 he refereed the 1970 World Cup Final and 5 Challenge Cup Finals to name a few. He will be remembered as one of the greatest ever Rugby League officials. RIP Fred.

The Full Time Referees are sorry to hear of the passing of legendary Referee Billy Thompson MBE, at the age of 87. Billy will always be remembered as one of the most respected Referees to grace the game with his record of honours some of the most extensive of all time. RIP Billy

send their condolences to the family and friends of former Huddersfield Grade One Referee Mick Beaumont who has passed away aged 82. Mick was a highly respected referee in the 70/80s taking charge of over 200 Pro games, aspiring many up and coming Referees. RIP Mick.
