@ah_p_uh According to submitted McNie’s supporting documentation, this setup still supposedly provides at least 64-bit security (Section 8.2.3). How might we go about breaking it? 👀.Please sign up for Dreamhack, and give this a shot!.

@ah_p_uh Miko is about attacking McNie, a code-based public-key cryptosystem that did not advance to the round 2 of the Post-Quantum Cryptography standardization. It uses the parameters m=19, blk=10, d=3, and r=4; much smaller than the originally proposed ones.

I wrote all the crypto challenges, and Miko was the most difficult one among them. Only soon_haari (@ah_p_uh) solved this challenge, and his solution was amazing! (still, it was not intended though.).
