Our first-in-human experience using nOCT in the neurovasculature was featured on the cover of Science TM this week! Incredible journey of discovery, together with @eneri_neuro, @MattGounis, our global colleagues and the innovators at Spryte Medical/@gentuity !.
A miniaturized, snake-like OCT imaging probe navigates and illuminates the labyrinth of cerebral arteries with high resolution, offering a diagnostic tool to guide #endovascular interventions for #stroke and other conditions. @RADIS_lab @SmhNeuroVasc

Check out our recent publication in @JNIS_BMJ which quantified #robotic precision using @Mentice simulation! When comparing #manual vs. robotic-assisted #interventions, the robot allowed fellows to perform tasks with the same #precision as our experienced staff! @StMichaelsFdn.
In a simulated study, Charbonnier et al. found that neurointerventionists showed significantly greater precision using robotic assistance during complex aneurysm procedures—fewer microwire movements vs manual. No major differences in easier cases, safety, or timing.
