Ok, Iāve tried all day for three days to export this movie - itās failed halfway through every time. Iāve done some troubleshooting but no clue why itās happening. About to travel for a few days and wonāt be able to try again until I get back. š

Ok it says 9 hours left and I believe it. Honestly wouldnāt feel right if I didnāt miss the final deadline š Iām supposed to get on a plane tomorrow - everyone might have to do the watch party without me š

Just walked in to my office and media encoder wasnāt running. Looks like it crashed. Guess it stores some of the encoding info because it says 15 hours remaining.

After a 1080p watch-through last night I started a 4k, 2 pass VBR render on the movie. It said it would take twentyā¦ fourā¦ hoursā¦ It ran for six hours overnight and now says it will take 26 hours to complete. Iād cry if it wasnāt kinda funny. š«

And it also couldnāt have happened if not for my wife, who basically lost me to a second job the last few months while I got back to grinding away on the edit. She kept our lives on track. She is such a badass.

Tonight Iām gonna sit down with my wife & watch my GW2 movie. I spent countless hours editing, missed every deadline Iāve set for myself, recut the entire movie (twice), sacrificed time, sleep,q vacation days, but itās finally done. And Iām so proud of how it turned out. (Cont.)
