Quand ça m'était arrivé, j'avais tellement enfumé la contrôleuse incapable de m'expliquer ce que j'avais fait de mal, qu'elle s'était barrée sans mettre d'amende - j'ai aussi compris qu'il ne fallait pas utiliser l'appli qui ne sert à rien et se rendre au guichet, comme en 1996.
La SNCF on en peut plus :. On partait tranquillement pour disneyland, 5 billets de 68€ que j'avais acheté pour ma famille sur le site mais au moment du paiement 3 billets "buguent" et se retrouvent à mon nom. 1/3.

I read with a pencil - circle the words I think I understand and underline the ones to look up later. It's not too disruptive for my reading and it's joyous to see the amount of pencil marks reducing as you go.
When reading in a second language, a crucial skill to master is knowing when to say "I'm not going to look that word up" and just move on with the story.
