Inspired by March's Math Staff Meeting Video Mrs. Syer's and Mrs. Allison's JK/SK class did some wonderful shape and measurement exploration. Non-standardized units, perimeter, and triangles were just a few of the math terms being used. @QueenVic_PS @tldsbmath @CurriculumTldsb

This morning our Grade 5/6s went grocery shopping! They were given a scenario card with an ingredients list, they had to find their ingredients at the store, & then they had to use their 15% off coupon to calculate how much their total would be! We also added 13% tax! 🛒

Today QVPS' K-1 Educators actively took part in our Lit Series 3 PLC. They dove into intentional planning using a variety of resources in response to what their data was telling them! Awesome job for such a hot Friday! @CurriculumTldsb @QueenVic_PS @tldsb_literacy
