I had a great time yesterday evening at the @PhysAstroEd 3 Minute Thesis competition. Six PhD students from the School and four judges from across the research spectrum. We were at the historic Anatomy LT (formerly home of Burke and Hare antics). Also, elephants!

I passed by my old @UoMparticle office at CERN today. I think the door sign needs a refresh! How many of those people are still in the group? I count 6/29. In fairness a lot has happened since late 2019.

Observation of a new charmed baryon decaying to Ξc⁺π⁻π⁺ - The Ξc(2923)⁺ baryon is observed for the first time, and is consistent with being the isospin partner of the previously observed Ξc(2923)⁰ state.

Digging further - it looks like my source for the Turkish publication date (Wikipedia) was wrong - should be 2019 for both English and Turkish editions.

Hi @TheBookerPrizes I am curious and I hope you can help me. In 2019 The book "10 Minutes 38 Seconds in this Strange World" by Elif Shafak was shortlisted for your prize. I thought that this was a translation of an earlier Turkish work from 2018. How was it eligible?.
