1. Simple menus. Allows for superior quality & speed. 2. A+ drive-thru locations. Only invest in great sites. 3. Elevated customer service. (Cane’s less so than the other two). 4. Cult followings.

QSR just released 2024 average unit volumes for fast food. Chick-fil-A: $7.3 Million.Raising Cane’s: $6.56.In-n-Out: $5.24. These are the 5 rockstars. Everyone else is less than $4M. What do you notice about these brands? Why are they crushing?.

This is only naming a few. For celebs, franchising isn’t just a side hustle, it’s a way to maintain wealth and build legacy long after the spotlight fades. Which of these moves impressed you most?.

4/10 LeBron James – Blaze Pizza. LeBron invested early in Blaze Pizza owned as many as 17 franchises. His bet on fast-casual pizza has been one of the most successful athlete-food plays. Fun fact- the Blaze team that got him as an investor are the same that got Drake at DHC!

3/10 Drake – Dave’s Hot Chicken. In 2021, Drake invested in Dave’s Hot Chicken after trying the food. He doesn’t run units, but helped fuel the brand’s national growth. Probably got a nice payout from the recent sale too.

What I learned from the replies:. If you’re a coffee concept you are crushing it. Even if you are flat in sales, that means you are still loosing share. (@McFranchisee) . Street Fight is on!.

It’s been a pretty slow summer for all my brands. I have a lot of friends (both restaurant and not) saying the same. What’s going on? You all feeling this too?.

All these other drive-thru chains reporting lackluster Q2 SSS growth. And then there is Dutch Bros at almost +8%. 🤩

QSR dropped the 2024 rankings yesterday. Here were my observations in no particular order…. -Raising Cane’s AUV’s up big .2024: $5.69 vs 2025: $6.56.The brand is on fire right now. They deserve this. Marketing, operations, celebrity endorsements, hell Snoop Dogg is serving.

I was mostly surprised by a bunch of these results. Biggest surprises: Jack in the Box and Scooter’s dominating middle America?!. Dutch Bros and Jersey Mike’s are the only ones that look correct to me…. What surprised you? Think it’s accurate?
