Terminal prostate cancer at 48 for sir chris hoy is absolutely insane. We should be treating prostate cancer like cervical cancer it's so easy to pick up with a blood test.

This is why attendance targets are nonsense. As a tutor I had to PHONE parents when their childโs attendance dropped below 95% - most of the time due to issues like this. Waste of time and just pissed everyone off
Email from daughterโs school warning her attendance is below 93%. She was off in total for 3 days this term, one spent vomiting; the next two she was adhering to *their own rules* about leaving 48h from last vomit until school return. Next time, Iโll just send her in.๐คทโโ๏ธ

maternity pay is crap, childcare costs are crippling, childbirth is hellish and pre/post natal care is on its knees, it costs a million pounds to rent a 1 bed shed, butter is a fiver and itโs exhausting just being alive
