If you care so much about not editing or censoring the past - why isn't it compulsory to teach about the violence of Empire?
We cannot now try to edit or censor our past. We cannot pretend to have a different history. The statues in our cities and towns were put up by previous generations. 3/8

The patient who you think is being difficult, angry or oversensitive is pretty much always protecting you from the extent of what they are feeling and what they’ve been through. Managing one’s clinician so they don’t feel overwhelmed or panic is a real thing and exhausting.
