Been reflecting on my circuit design process while building a course. Here’s my updated flowchart, from planning to fab. Hope it helps! . What’s your design process? How would you improve mine? . #Electronics #CircuitDesign

Our chip viewer just got an upgrade: now you can see microscope images, GDS, local interconnect and jump straight to project files. Spot something cool? Dive right into the design. Try out our new layer selections with the button at the top right.

FabricFox: Little FPGA board that's a drop-in replacement for the ASIC on @tinytapeout TT06+ demo boards. It'll be CRAM configured by the RP2 on the DB, so it's uber simple. @fishPointer : does this save me from the culling?

These boards really are "treasure troves of microelectronic wonders". If you weren't part of the ASIC tapeout, this is a chance to get one. A ton of cool projects on each (I think my favorite is still TT06, the 1st to have analog, including my first mixed-signal). See

Been meaning to learn hardware design with Verilog or TL-Verilog? No better way than through a SPACE BATTLE (probably), and no better time than now thanks to this ASIC design showdown:

Hardware design, captured in real life. Forgot the recorder on, doing some layout. and this is what the transcription looks like #goodtimes (impressive work by speech note, tho!)

The gritty details of getting from PCB to functional system ready for orbit! .Almost boils down to a comedy of errors but when the crunch is crunching and the timer's ticking you gain a few new scars that make you better for next time. ASIC in space!

In the bad old days, this thing used to crash every 20 minutes but I stuck with @kdenlive and they stuck with building great software, and works great and I love it. Baking the next video in the "spASICs" series, and its a doozy. what an adventure!

Been heads-down for a bit trying to get an experiment to. SPACE! A lot of details to juggle in a short time, but I have been documenting along the way. Check out the process how it's coming along:.

How do you get a PCB into space? Still not 100% sure it's going to work out, but I've been working on just that, and documenting along the way. A talk about the satellite on which we'll get a ride and the tech behind that + a preview of my board/code

We recently sat down with Tibor Herman to talk about HUNITY, the satellite that’s taking our chips to space. We dug into past missions, how it maneuvers in orbit and the test framework that’ll run your code. Catch the full interview here:
