Americans don’t realize that wives/caregivers of our 100% wounded PRE 9/11 Veterans LOSE ALL INCOME when their Vet dies of SC injuries. We have a tiny SS (740)and get a tiny DIC payment of about 1800 month. PRE9/11 Vets life insurance ? $40,000 AT HIGHEST and cost a lot. POST9/11.
@SecVetAffairs I need assistance my husband was a camp lejune victim and I received DIC benefits but I'm homeless and I don't qualify for VA homeless program even though I'm a surviving spouse is there any way that you can help me.
