Great news but we’re still missing much needed information on utility of POC tests to enable targeted and ‘appropriate’ use of antibiotics at the front door. @Pronto_Trial is now in analysis phase and will report later this year.
Our updated guidance on recognising, diagnosing and the early management of suspected sepsis recommends more targeting of antibiotics to those at the highest risk. Learn more: #NICENews

As we concentrate our efforts on data queries, another special mention goes to our lead site overall, Royal Liverpool University Hospital, @LivHospitals, who recruited a total of 1,256 patients into PRONTO! Wonderful effort from all. Thank you!
