I agree with Tamsin. When I give talks in schools, I make it clear that climate change is a *very* serious problem & needs to be urgently addressed, but I also avoid causing despair or panic. I reassure them that they are NOT going to “die of climate change” as some seem to think
@GreenRupertRead Rupert, I am shocked at this talk. Please stop telling children they may not grow up due to climate change. It is WRONG and deflects from the fact it is poor people who are at risk due to inequality exacerbated by shifts in weather.
