With no date this is either Big Thunder 1980 or EPCOT in 1982 construction badge. I think it is EPCOT but maybe @TomKMorris can tell us if it is EPCOT. Yes, I had to Photoshop out my Social Security number as Disney used it for IDs and expenses reports back then. PICO stood

In honor of Space Mountain's 50 years, I re-post this picture of one of the opening day control relays. One of the Florida engineers sent it to me when the Ride Control System was replaced in the 1990's by redundant Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) that replaced all these
This “telephone relay” was one of many relays that controlled the original Space Mountain Florida ride until the 1990s when they were replaced with a computer. They sent me this one as a souvenir. It’s on my workbench in the garage. It’s a 4PDT relay.

One of the most fascinating Walt Disney films that "never was" is Rainbow Road to Oz.Walt had wanted to make an Oz film his whole life but MGM beat him to the first book.He bought the rights to the remaining Baum books but an animated version was cancelled.This was plan B.

A friendly reminder that in his book, Bob Iger congratulated himself for making Roy E. Disney FEEL like he respected him, then went on to air a bunch of his personal struggles, dismiss his respect for legacy as being totally stuck in the past, and didn't mention his death at all.

I need to have a PCUSA fundraiser, and I have plenty of duplicate Disney docs/ephemera to auction, but I don't know if anyone out there is buying this stuff besides me. Is ANYONE in the market for old newsletters/magazines/etc? I don't want to list all this stuff if no one cares.
