1970 brought us Santa Claus is Comin' to Town,one of the best Christmas specials ever produced.This story is a Christian parable about religious conscience making it one of the first casualties of PC culture. It pulled from network TV in the early 80's you'll soon understand why.

In the 1990's Tim Allen sitcom Home Improvement they ALWAYS did a Christmas episode. In 1996 they did this sequence in a Thanksgiving episode where Tim is watching Rankin/Bass' Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town & has a dream where everyone on the sitcom is a stop motion puppet. The

@SaraGonzalesTX The Diney's King David live musical was supposed to be performed in Jerusalem for the anniversary of the city but Disney chicked out over security concerns. Some of the songs were performed in NYC & a rare CD was released. Here's the proof.
Once upon a time the Walt Disney Company developed a Broadway production centered on King David but they pulled the plug. I don't know a lot about it but they did do this and it was in 1997. It was probably because Dreamworks was doing The Ten Commandments/Moses at the time.
