Basically it is new drug or existing drug for new purpose being tested to see if it is effective and safe. This is a feasibility study e.g., is it feasible to do a full clinical trial?
@Fighting_LC @ruairidhm @ERASE_LC @UniofExeter @DocStrain @Pen_CTU @DerbyUni @Prof_Ian_M It stands for ‘investigational medicinal product’ ie the drug being tested. In this case it is Remdesivir which is an antiviral drug. It is currently used in acute Covid but we are trialling the feasibility of using it with people with long Covid.
