I was honoured to attend Dr Megan Clark AC’s installation as the ninth Chancellor of @MonashUni. Dr Clark is a renowned Australian scientist and researcher, and I’m excited to work with her to elevate Monash’s reputation around the world.

I told the @FinancialReview HE Summit that student experience and choice are being overlooked in the international education policy debate. We can’t dictate where international students want to study, if we do they will choose to study elsewhere. @MonashUni

I told a Senate committee today that enrolment limits on international students could undermine student experience and research. Intl education is a profound contributor to the public good of universities. There are better ways to plan numbers. @MonashUni.

A privilege to represent @MonashUni at @BCA Australia-China CEO Roundtable Tuesday that was attended by Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and People’s Republic of China Premier Li Qiang to build dialogue among businesses from both countries.

Incredibly important research led by @MonashUni’s Professor @Kate_FitzGibbon on intimate partner femicide in Australia - in 71% of 235 cases the male perpetrator had prior contact with the criminal justice system, highlighting these killings are inherently preventable.

I was delighted to welcome to @MonashUni Wednesday students from India’s @AmityUni, visiting us on a study tour. It is a wonderful opportunity to build cross-cultural and multidisciplinary knowledge, soft skills and employability, and hopefully lasting local friendships.
