Every mother deserves the time, space and support to breastfeed. @WHO is working with countries to strengthen breastfeeding-friendly policies, including in the workplace. Mothers are encouraged to exclusively breastfeed for the first 6 months and continue for 2 years or more.

Robust and concerted efforts are helping to curb cholera outbreaks in our region. Three weeks ago, @WHO supported #DRC to set up a treatment centre – all patients have recovered. These efforts are paying off. We’re staying the course to safeguard health & save lives.
