Every mother deserves the time, space and support to breastfeed. @WHO is working with countries to strengthen breastfeeding-friendly policies, including in the workplace. Mothers are encouraged to exclusively breastfeed for the first 6 months and continue for 2 years or more.
Breastfeeding is more than feeding. It is bonding, protection and survival. Mothers need information, care and support to breastfeed successfully. #WorldBreastfeedingWeek .#SupportBreastfeeding
