Thank you to the patients and their supporters who took part in the EPOCH trial, helping women with rare ovarian and endometrial carcinosarcoma and to trial teams and researchers @anzgog @WEHI_research.
ANZGOG would like to thank our trial sites and teams who participated in the EPOCH study, which has recently closed to recruitment. We're especially grateful to our Study Chair, Prof Clare Scott AM for providing exceptional leadership of the trial.

Ali Crawford explaining at the ANZGOG ASM2025 that cancer is a chronic disease, that nurse practitioners for all patients are essential, that women know what they have to do, especially for their children. Such strength. @anzgog @OvarianCancerOz @ocrfaustralia.@WEHI_research.

A great loss to our cancer community. John Hopper had a wide and deep impact via his epidemiological observations. I’ll never forget his photo of twins: “look at their body habitus, amazing”. He will indeed be missed.@WEHI_research @UniMelbMDHS.
“I will miss his sharp intellect immensely.” Our Chief Executive @Prof_G_McArthur AO has expressed deep sadness and paid tribute to a giant of Australian cancer research, Professor John Hopper AM. Read more:

Congratulations to @LindaMileshkin and the ICON9 investigators for this important negative finding @anzgog.
Great presentation of the first results from ICON9 showing that adding cedirinib to olaparib maintenance therapy did not improve PFS for women with relapsed platinum sensitive ovarian cancer! So proud to lead the trial for @anzgog who recruited 1/3 of the patients
