The leaders of Carleton University’s journalism program have issued a letter to students outlining new steps being taken to foster greater diversity and inclusiveness in Canada’s oldest journalism school.

The podcast summer camp we're running this week @JSchool_CU is at full capacity, with a cohort doing podcast training with the amazing Caroline O'Neill and David Sarazin in the morning while the afternoon podcast group does sports. I see a lot of future journalists in the room.

The IDF targeted a press tent at the Al-Shifa hospital killing Al Jazeera’s most senior correspondent in Gaza, Anas Al-Sharif, and colleague Mohamed Qreiqeh. Sharif and Qreiqeh are the 261st and 262nd Palestinian journalists killed by Israel since Oct 2023.
