Thank you Tom - we love this Soave - it’s definitely earning its place on our list.

Pieropan is the name everyone mentions; Antonio Fattori's Gregoris from @PrivateCellar got me into it and is now a personal favourite: https://t.co/9UE4PbvthM

@mambomarky @laithwaites @robertjoseph @WineBusProf @RekaHaros Can highly recommend @PrivateCellar - their buyer is an MW, they have trainee MWs in the business and customer service is fantastic (speak to the lovely @laura_and_wine). Plenty of really lovely wines that punch above their weight around £10. https://t.co/b80RGJCoDA

The wines I don't like generate more interest than those I do. This was excellent and is highly recommended - please spread the word: @PrivateCellar @laura_and_wine @Vinsrhone @stuart_lawless @doughtagnan @wineuncorkeduk @BistroWineMan @robertjoseph https://t.co/Jeviy9wbXj

Both brilliantly recommended by @laura_and_wine https://t.co/b80RGJCWt8

@midlandno4 @CambWineBlogger @PrivateCellar @Vinsrhone Big fan of Private Cellar - my go-to for well-made, reliable wines that punch above their price point. If I ever want to persuade someone of the merits of an indy vs supermarket / internet retailer, I give them a few similarly priced Private Cellar wines to try.

Three roses from @PrivateCellar - none of them quite what I would expect. But in a good way. Do you know these @LizGabayMW ?

@RekaHaros @VinoPigro @BestOfVeneto Recently learnt from @donalde that Soave is grown on volcanic soils; I think that's why I like it so much. This, from @PrivateCellar, was really lovely: Textured, elegant and precise - full review 👇 #bestofveneto #soave #veneto #italianwine https://t.co/dG6lSEie04

@thewineslammer @thegingergrape1 @laithwaites @VirginWines @TatianaLivesey @robertjoseph Yes, @cambridgewine is one of many local indies round here, my go-to for classics. @PrivateCellar have an MW buyer, so quality very good. @jobarneswines are quirky and funky - and that's just Charles. Also good are: - @BacchanaliaVic1 - @ThirstyCamb - @nywines

@SorchaHolloway Bought a couple of cases of reliable, inexpensive, classy drinkers from @PrivateCellar for my parents - Soave, Loire, Picpoul, Rhone and Bdx. Everyone's a winner.

@J4mesIdeefabrik @WineMan147 Retailers tend have a sweet spot where they are really good; from mid-teens upwards you are really in independent wine merchant territory. Here are some: - @PrivateCellar - @cambridgewine - @jobarneswines - @ThirstyCamb - @nywines - @Bacchanalia_cam / @BacchanaliaVic1
