24 hrs later
Primrose Hill is thinking of Harry Pitman and his family and friends.
🖤
Police are standing guard over the crime scene throughout the night in the rain and the park remains closed.

Just 1m 45secs of the 30mins it took
@MPSCamandPrim
to clear
#PrimroseHill
tonight from just one gate. Noisy crowds of many hundreds continue to use it as a night time venue. Thankyou for clearing so well tonight🙏🙏🙏 residents will be able to get some sleep
@theroyalparks
We continue to work closely with
@metpoliceuk
to close Primrose Hill from 10pm on Friday, Saturday & Sunday evenings until the end of August, after which we will review the situation. As always, we urge visitors to be mindful of others and to respect the park & local residents.

Thank you - the efficient police clearance of noisy crowds of many hundreds from the park last night was much appreciated by local residents who were able to get nights sleep as a result 🙏🙏🙏
Amplified music on
#PrimroseHill
has consistently blighted the park for users and nearby residents over the last year. Thank you for the new signs
@theroyalparks

What’s become a usual Friday night on
#primrosehill
. 100s underage drinking, drugs and loud music. Manageable ASB if 10pm close thanks to .

@theroyalparks
. A disaster in the making if allowed to continue unmanaged into the night
@MPSRoyal_Parks
Heightened police presence is not evident at night. There has been ASB in the park for the last 3 nights including fireworks. With park wide open and no signage, night visitors are not aware of the risks they run entering the park at night
Officers attend Primrose Hill tonight during patrols, found a mobile disco with lights and amplifiers and everything! The people with were very polite and are taking it away on first request. So far so nice on the ‘Hill.
@theroyalparks
It has not been possible to safely enjoy Primrose Hill at night for several years. A tourist was mugged with a machete and sustained life changing injuries in December 2022 while taking a photo of the view. It is a hotspot for drug taking and dealing and anti social behaviour.
In case you haven't heard the very sad news of the murder of a 16yr old on
#PrimroseHill
last night on NYE, the park is closed for the rest of the day as a crime investigation scene. It may also be closed tomorrow.
Thanks for clearing large crowds from
#PrimroseHill
again tonight

Shame to see gates unlocked at 11pm after all that effort. Let's hope residents, pets and occupants of the Zoo don't have another difficult night of fireworks post 12pm

it's good to see local Mary's Charity being valued for the important and necessary work they do
Powerful discussions yesterday at 10 Downing Street with Mary’s Charity CEO MJ, Founding Director Jason, and a group of like-minded advocates, delving into the pressing issues of gangs, youth violence, and the UK’s criminal justice system.
Menacing and extremely loud ASB from scooter and bike gang on
#PrimroseHill
this evening, disturbing the neighbourhood. Good example of need for regular policing and secure night closure of the park

Approx 4.15pm today very loud random illegal fireworks on
#PrimroseHill
caused dog on afternoon walk in park with owner to flee terrified and run out of the park unaccompanied. Lucky to be found later locally - unharmed but traumatised after crossing several roads on its own
Thank you
@MPSRoyal_Parks
@theroyalparks
for listening to and working with residents - amplified music in
#PrimroseHill
park has blighted the lives of so many over the last year and ruined the peace for other park users
We would like to take this opportunity to thank residents in the local area who provided statements to police talking about the impact the noise has had on your lives, this proved to be of great gravity with the court taking into account the impact noise has had on your lives.
🙏🙏
@MPSRoyal_Parks
for patrolling and clearing
#PrimroseHill
so well last night. Fireworks incidents in the park were much reduced from past years. But sorry to report later that three illegal fireworks displays approx 1/2 hr apart around midnight woke the neighbourhood

Primrose Hill is not safe at night. There are not even incident boards up to warn park visitors of what has happened. Last night illegal fireworks were let off and there was no police presence at all
10:45pm Plenty of noise coming from
#Primrosehill
tonight - shouting and amplified music keeping residents awake, a lot of people out there on the hill. Can you clear and stop the music?
