Beautiful reflections from @smh essay finalist Eliza Hoh “I see a librarian helping a customer, or I watch a toddler stumble around with a book too big for her hands to hold, I am assured of what Sydney is capable of. The investment in public libraries brings these rich rewards.”

Vale Bill Granger OAM. Condolences to Bill's family and the wonderful teams at all Bills’ restaurants for always warmly welcoming us (as recently as this Christmas Eve!) The corn fritters have and always will be my favourite signature Bills dish.

“Some submissions opposing the plan for multi-use courts suggested "a sense of ownership when in fact the courts are public facilities .. As caretakers of these public assets, we must manage them equitably - painting a few extra lines on two tennis courts was a modest change." 🎾

Hi Andrew, that’s incorrect. I support the recommendations contained in the report to the Traffic Committee - a mix of 2P, 3P and unrestricted spaces (see pages 68 & 69). I see it as a fair and equitable approach for residents and visitors.

@PriceHarriet @ChrisMinnsMP @newscomauHQ But.... you support removing all untimed parking from Watsons Bay. That's your position. That will stop Sydney siders having a day at the beach, as all they will get under your plan, is 2 hours. You just closed Watsons Bay to wider Sydney. Residents are against that.
