Love seeing @Philly_Surge getting great press! We are so lucky to have a women’s pro ultimate team in Philly now. Yet another reason to @PreserveEdgely—these women should continue to have a place to practice in the city.

We're looking for ecologists or wetland scientists to help identify wetlands and account for any required buffer areas in potential alternative field sites for the stadium project. If you know of any, that are willing to help out, please connect them to ed@pada.org

Edgely is a natural oasis not just for humans! #PreserveEdgely
Thanks for meeting with us today to discuss Edgely’s future, @Mr4thDistrict. Moments after Councilmember Jones left, an Edgely fox came out to play. Please excuse the bad picture. We didn’t want to get too close and scare away our fox friend.

#PreserveEdgely Thousands of folks use and love the natural open space at Edgely.
@theclassixjawn explaining to @Mr4thDistrict how much love @JeremeMason pours into Edgely Ultimate Fields to keep the fields so green, “Some PGA golf course would hire you, somewhere”

Can we do turf next? @PreserveEdgely
It was HOT today; it was HOTTER without shade. Live from Cedar Park in West Philly: 98 degrees on shaded brick and 151 degrees on unshaded rubber. Bottom line: TREES are public health infrastructure and we have to prioritize them. @Eugenia_South @CouncilmemberJG

Oasis is correct! Let’s make sure that @PhilaParkandRec doesn’t privatize or ruin these wonderful spaces! @PreserveEdgely
Philly's parks are an oasis -- a place to laugh with neighbors, get lost in recreational fun, or just relax. Thank you to the dedicated staff and volunteers who keep our city's parks clean and safe each and every day! #ParksandRecDay

It fields very surreal that today, 5/22/22, more than a year after the city announced plans to build a stadium at Edgely, the public discourse from the pro-stadium crowd boils down to "actually turf stadiums are in fact very natural things" https://t.co/iIBqqPpLtE

🌳 Who speaks for the Trees? 🌳 Tree laws in Philadelphia have loopholes big enough to drive a logging truck through. https://t.co/LTsYDsFMYP

Same district as the @PreserveEdgely debacle...
Counting the illegal payment made by the Cobbs Creek Foundation, there are four donations totaling $7,000 received in an eight-day period from people and organizations with direct ties to the golf course project.

This sadly sounds familiar. Don't let this discourage you, keep engaging!
ICYMI: after hearing from thousands of residents and choosing the safest option as final design for Washington Ave, in a Saturday tweet, the city reversed course. The explanation is murky at best. The message to residents: next time, don’t bother engaging.

Let's do this before a councilperson's vanity project @PreserveEdgely
"We're going to keep showing up at the worst of the recreation centers in need of repair or in need of completely new buildings, holding press conferences until we see the kind of movement that this concern deserves..." https://t.co/MIzGdzdNjn via @phillytrib
