For most Indian women it is additional drudgery, for many adults a sadness that stems from childhood traumas of various kinds peaks during festivals. festivals are not happy occasions for all!
Festivals carry emotional expectations of joy, connection, gratitude. When your inner world doesnтАЩt match those expectations, it can feel like failure. The contrast between external celebration and internal fatigue becomes sharper.
