This past week S/Insp Booth and SC Hayden completed their Public Order Medic Course. This consisted of an intense 5 day course of tactical medicine which can be used in a hostile environment such as public disorder. ⬇️

This is a great resource for first aid trainers to incorporate into teaching, and has recently been circulated to forces through their @PoliceChiefs First Aid Forum SPOCs.

Whilst this may sound like something for healthcare professionals, out training routinely talks about people looking pale, or about reddening of the skin. It's important that we known what to look for on casualties with black or brown skin.
