Seeing scaremongering stuff on here that the UK will be a majority Muslim country by 2060. Utter twaddle. In 2011 Muslims were 4.8% of the population. In 2021 it was 6.5%. Yes, there are larger numbers in London and big cities, but immigrants and ethnic minorities tend to 🧵 1.

Listening to Alex North’s discarded score for 2001: A Space Odyssey. It’s a fine score and probably would have worked well with Kubrick’s visuals. However, would it have worked as well as the R Strauss, Ligeti, J Strauss, Khachaturian soundtrack we ended up with? I’m not so sure.
