Watched "Wild at Heart" again recently and was struck once more by how Diane Ladd goes Lynch Big while keeping her mother from hell character grounded and real. She understood the assignment. RIP to an acting inspiration who never disappointed.

Why? Is someone from Americaβs big ally the House of Saud running? Is it the House of Saudβs buddies Israel? Interesting π€

An incredible exercise in vanity. Unreadable and entirely uninsightful. An artist can be elusive but this is fucking dumb and indicative of the true Morrissey. I think heβs lived an untested and unremarkable life outside of having a rabid fanbase that will buy his grey paint
Morrissey demanding that his terrible autobiography be published by Penguin Classics was so awesome. You really gotta hand it to him

Edward Herrmann is truly a legend to me. He was the bad guy in Lost Boys and narrated all of the best History Channel documentaries: The Presidents, Andrew Jackson, AND my personal favorite, Russia: Land of the Tsars, among others.

Kelly Reichardt is probably the worst director going. Absolute hack trash posing as high art of some kind. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone taking her class to drop out asap. The one thing she learned from her OK debut indie was⦠make it more boring and elusive next time?

The fact that stuff like One Battle After Another or The Substance really highlights the fact that people love slop as long as they recognize other people liking said slop

It took decades but I finally agree with the NY Post
βDeliver Me From Nowhereβ is tanking because Bruce Springsteen is too dull for a biopic https://t.co/p5tVu5N3C8

Happy Halloween. May I recommend Don Coscarelliβs Kenny and Company from 1976? Itβs my favorite Halloween movie
