⭐️ GCSE Results Day 2025 ⭐️

🤩 Asiya said the hard work was worth it after achieving 3 Grade 9s among her top results. 💫 It ended a chapter of school life that got off to an unusual start because of Covid. ✨"It was different because we were in one class and didn’t move around between lessons” she said.

⭐ Head girl Anam is planning a career in optometry or pharmacy after achieving superb GCSE results. 💫“It’s been busy juggling all the work and revising but it’s been a fun year and an honour to be Head Girl,” she said. “It’s helped build my confidence."

🤩 Many pupils collected their GCSE results with members of their family who were as nervous as their children. 💫 Parents were joyful and expressed their appreciation to all the teachers at Pleckgate.

✍️ Raihaanah has ambitions of becoming an author, and celebrated 9s in English Language and Literature among other superb results. 💫 “Over the summer you get nervous and doubt yourself, so I was shocked. I did a lot of revising but I didn’t expect it,” said Raihaanah.

🤩 Sa’ad celebrated three Grade 8s, five Grade 7s among his impressive results. 💫 “I’ve got the results I wanted,” said the aspiring GP, who wants to be the first in his family to go into medicine.

9️⃣ Our Class of 2025 Head boy Peter celebrated 7 Grade 9s among his fantastic GCSE results. 💫 He will now go to @Newman_College to study Maths, Chemistry and Aerospace Engineering.

👏 Headteacher Mrs McGinty praised an 'exceptional year group' as the Class of 2025 celebrated fantastic GCSE results. 💫 She said: "The Class of 2025 have always worked hard and been supportive of each other, they are a united group. We are so proud of all of them."

♥️Our Year 7–10 pupils have taken part in Period Peers training with @PlanUK and @NurofenUK’s #SeeMyPain campaign to help make Pleckgate a ‘Period Proud Environment’. 🌸 They’ll now tackle stigma and share knowledge to help everyone manage their cycle with confidence.
