100% MCT is hit or miss with thickness. The olive oil seems to give it more structure. Lighter flavored EVOO, not the bold stuff, seems to have a positive impact on flavor.

Cheap plastic Samsung knobs on the stovetop just came apart without warning. $80 a piece to replace. GFY. Found a full set of stainless steel replacements on Amazon for $26. They came today and are absolute perfection. Why am I so excited about this?

I had the distinct displeasure of overhearing some viral video about the top 10 foods for protein. Peanuts were #1 ??? How? All foods in 100g servings. Not sure where they even got the data but my god. If youâre eating peanuts for protein, youâre gonna have a bad time.

Hey @ChefGruel - how do you achieve your perfect season? Have had mixed success with coconut oil. Bon appetit says flax oil is the best for seasoning but I found that it made a brittle seasoning that would flake off over time.
Perfectly seasoned carbon steel. Doesnât even need much fat.
