Southwark needs social housing and family housing and an urgent end to section 21 evictions and the introduction of rent controls. Without all of these, this crisis will not be averted.

Cory Energy are proposing industrial development on the Crossness Nature Reserve. We are representing local residents and environmentalists to protect this rare pocket of nature from destruction. Please donate to our legal fund! This must be stopped.

Look at the scale of the @BerkeleyGroupUK proposed development in #Peckham. 65% of the housing unaffordable to local people. Even if you've signed a previous petition, please sign the LATEST petition to call for a development that's #RightForPeckham 🔽 https://t.co/CPUh1zz6Rw

When we conceive of the housing crisis as a shortage, we necessarily find ourselves in an ugly discussion about migration, population and race. There are plenty of homes-per-capita, but we need to dispossess landlords and re-municipalise them

Seriously worrying precendent here. 'Decant' residents from social housing blocks for urgent repair work, then change course and sell the blocks to the private sector.

This is a huge win for the Aylesbury community and beyond. It will be key to stopping developers and councils deviating from agreed plans behind closed doors.
