A huge thank you to all the emergency workers, council officers & TRA who are on site ensuring residents are safe and supported. Please note that Ilderton Rd will be closed whilst extensive repairs are completed - expected to last at least a week.

The national inquiry into NHS maternity care is vital. Families deserve truth, accountability and safer services. In Southwark, we launched our own Maternity Commission to tackle inequalities and improve care. Local voices must shape national change.

She certainly will. Glad that she also has the backing of Peckham CLP. She will be a brilliant advocate 👏🏽👏🏽.
I don't often endorse candidates for @UKLabour Conference Arrangements Committee, but I've just seen that @EmilyP_Smith is standing.I met her in SW Wiltshire whilst campaigning for @evenor23 there: I know that she would be a brilliant advocate for disabled members at conference.

Honoured to have met Sam King MBE - a true trailblazer. From RAF veteran to Southwark’s first Black mayor, he championed equality and culture. A Blue Plaque in Camberwell now honours his legacy. We stand on his shoulders. ❤️
