Thank you to the many volunteers for delivering meals to first responders throughout the City of Pittsburgh today. This dedicated group has graciously made and delivered meals on 9/11 for the last fifteen years as a way to thank first responders for their service. #NeverForget

UPDATE: All occupants have been accounted for and there are no reported injuries at this time. @PittsburghOEMHS is assisting with immediate needs with assistance from the @RedCross and @SalvationArmyPA. The fire is not yet contained. Please continue to avoid the area.

Pittsburgh Fire responded to an apartment fire in the 1500 block of Letort St. at 8:15 p.m. One victim was extricated from a unit in cardiac arrest. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. A male suffered a wrist laceration. Fire investigators will investigate the cause.
