So the argument I'm hearing is a publisher can't get rid of Jimmy Kimmel because that is censorship, but it's not censorship for platforms to remove people because they have the wrong political opinion. Retardation levels off the chart.

Jimmy Kimmel lied about Charlie Kirk’s assassin being MAGA, this caused understandable outrage all over America, prompted TV station owners to say they wouldn’t air him, and he’s now been suspended by his employers. Why is he being heralded as some kind of free speech martyr?

ABC can decide to get rid of any one it wants because it operates like a publisher, and has to face the legal consequences of what its employees do or say. All for free speech but this whole thing is just dumb.

The real free speech battle is distinguishing between platforms and publishers and fixing section 230 to force platforms to abide by the first amendment with a limited ability to moderate content. ABC can do whatever the f it wants.
