It was everything.

How many areas is the UK TRULY world leading in? 1m more attend the West End than Broadway p/y. More people see a West End show annually than attend a Premier league match.
Yet theatreland from top to bottom has been abandoned by the government. No insurance and left to wither.

I recently saw Cinderella & was blown away by the talent of the numerous swings/covers & alternates who performed with such distinction. Love to all involved in any capacity at the Gillian Lynne who found out in such a horrible way & those who will be massively impacted by this.
Exclusive: Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella is to close in the West End after an unsettled 12-month run, with a Broadway opening planned for early next year.
