was walking by after a TD. Had the 200-400 on, clipped elbow and helmet but the lighting I knew was going to be right for a good black and white edit. And it was. Break the rules sometimes. It pays off.

I had a situation this year where I got treated terribly by a coach because I highlighted an opposing athlete who literally had a record breaking game and no one from his team was there photographing. I’m finally telling this story because it’s not about you as a coach

Movement patterns show true athleticism. One word comes to mind...underestimated. All season this kid has been consistent with how he moves that ball and it’s been fun to photograph a high school player with that depth of movement.

Always take the time. I’ve had people in the crowd ask me about photography and I’ve had people ask if their settings are right, so when this little was asking about my camera, I asked her if she wanted to take a picture of her favorite player. Always take the time. It matters.
