BREAKING: The writers of Sesame Street have authorized a strike — unanimously. The 35 writers, unionized with the WGA, could start picketing outside the Sesame workshop offices in NYC as soon as April 24th.

Instead of comparing why don't we say all workers feel this way. And that's the reality, try and why workers are striking from Hollywood to the auto industry because at the end of the day the CEOs and C Suite suits are getting most of the $$ not the workers.

This is huge. Seven unions representing teachers and other Wisconsin public workers have filed a lawsuit to end the state ban on collective bargaining for almost all public employees. The Wisconsin Supreme Court just flipped to a liberal majority for the first time in 15 years.

I learned something today about WGA reacquisition that I wanted to pass along. It's an interesting but complicated process. The basics - if you write sell or write an original project there is a window for you to reacquire the matierial if it falls out of active development.
