Many non-organic pesticides can currently be sold to anyone in the UK without any checks or training. They should be banned from sale, online and in person, to the general public.

A couple of years ago, with the straightest of faces senior managers at Sydney Uni told me & NTEU branch about the dire financial crisis facing the uni, and the urgent need for redundancies. We called bullshit - the numbers didn't stack up. We were right.
